The project.
We had the Gorman Centre over the 2024–25 summer holidays, contracted directly by John Paul College, with the main works finished before Christmas and minor works and defects closed out before the new school year.
In that window we moved the furniture room by room, lifted the old Flotex, carpet tiles and rubber, ground and skimmed the slab, and laid the new floors throughout, including the stairs and the tiered Gorman Lecture Theatre, where the seating came out and went back in around the new flooring.
