Floors that can be cleaned properly.

Clinical spaces need floors with no gaps for dirt or fluids to collect. We lay homogeneous sheet vinyl with heat-welded seams, coved up the walls and joined to wall cladding, so the floor and wall finish clean together.

We work for health builders on new facilities and on refurbishments inside operating hospitals, where the work is staged around patients and clinical staff. Floor preparation is part of the package, because clinical vinyl shows every flaw in the slab underneath.

Aged care is covered on our retirement living and aged care page.

Common questions.

Why is sheet vinyl coved in clinical areas?

Coving runs the vinyl up the wall on a cove former, so there’s no corner joint for dirt or fluids to collect in. With heat-welded seams and a weld to the wall cladding, the floor and wall can be cleaned as one surface.

Can you work inside an operating hospital?

Yes. We stage the work around patients and clinical staff and follow the builder’s and facility’s infection control and access requirements.

Do you install wall cladding?

Yes. We install PU wall cladding and heat-weld it to the floor finish in wet and clinical areas.

Which clinical vinyl brands do you install?

Homogeneous and safety ranges from Armstrong, Forbo, Gerflor, Polyflor, Tarkett and Altro, among others, to the project specification. See safety and sheet vinyl.

Do you do aged care?

Yes. See retirement living and aged care.
